Bocboc Coffee Shop, located on Kiln Lane in Eccleston, is quickly becoming a cherished destination for locals and visitors alike. With its cozy ambiance and friendly staff, it's no surprise that many patrons rate their experiences highly. Cheryl, a regular, praises the exceptional food and service, highlighting the unique combination of waffle, bacon, and honey as a surprising delight post their 10k walks. This showcases bocboc's knack for innovative pairings that please the palate.

However, not all reviews sing the shop's praises. A Father's Day experience for SAL turned frustrating due to service lapses and a mishap with a spilled drink, resulting in a soaked celebrant. Despite the tasty food, the lack of attentive customer service during busy times left a sour note. Fortunately, others like Matthew Carroll and Yvonne Twist find their visits rewarding, with excellent meals and a welcoming atmosphere, even on busy occasions.

Overall, bocboc Coffee Shop excels in delivering delightful dishes and warm vibes that keep people coming back, but there’s a clear call for improved service consistency. With its potential, bocboc can still become a go-to spot for a charming dining experience.

Our favourite Sunday morning treat after a 10k walk. The food, drinks & service are always exceptional. The recommendation of waffle, bacon & honey was, surprisingly, the perfect choice. Thanks Alexandra, it's always nice receive such friendly, attentive service.

Horrendous experience. A Father's Day treat turned into a disaster! Five of six of us adults went for a Father's Day treat for my husband. We had booked a table and were seated in an alcove near the toilets, around the corner from the counter. After receiving the menus, we all chose our meals and drinks and then waited for our order to be taken. Perhaps as we weren't in the eye line of any staff at the counter, we felt rather ignored, and a couple came with their baby and were served before us. Perhaps as they sat near the counter. It was busy, but other people being served before you is annoying. After 20 minutes or so, we went and asked at the counter if we could order, please, and the waitress came. Orders placed all was well. The food was good, there were no problems with the kitchen! We ordered additional drinks when the food arrived. Two coffees, coke, etc, and ate our food. A waiter came over and asked if our drinks had come, as they hadn't, he chased them up, and just after we finished eating, a different, younger waiter came, quite unsteadily, with his full tray. He tried to lift a coffee from the tray and proceeded to knock a bottle of coke onto my husband, where it started emptying on his trousers and new shirt. Fortunately, my husband grabbed the bottle, but he was already wet through. There was actually a puddle on his chair when he stood up, and the floor was also quite wet. The waiter retreated and returned with a roll of blue cloths and left us cleaning it up! My husband was absolutely soaked! We dried the table, the chair, and the floor, as there was a family at the next table with small children, so we didn't want one of the children to slip on the wet floor. It totally our ruined the outing and the mood for Father's Day. We needed to leave. Unbelieveably, a waitress brought the bill and told us Dad's meal was free as if that helped. I said, "So we have to pay for the drinks he just brought," even though my husband was wearing one of them and the two coffees were partially in the saucers. The waitress returned and said the manager had agreed that the drinks price was knocked off the bill. We paid for the terrible experience and have no desire to return. We had to go straight home, where my husband showered, and I put his soaking shirt, trousers, and underwear in the wash. Not how we had planned to spend the afternoon at all! Accidents happen, I know, but it seemed to be nothing to them, and the manager never even came over to apologise for ruining my husband's day. Food ok, but terrible customer service and poor management attitude. Best avoided.

Absolutely fantastic local venue, food is delicious and love that there’s a full range of drinks available. I’ve attended themed adults only events and also family friendly events here, both of which were superb. Keep doing what you’re doing!

We came yesterday for Fathers Day and it was very busy which is what you would expect. Its a great little place and well organised. The food was excellent and the service was very good considering how busy it was. We would definitely recommend it and we will be returning back when its nice to sit outside on a normal day. Thank you

Finally called in here for breakfast after wanting to try for a long time! Chilled vibe, nice decor and good ranged menu (for food and drinks) Standard veggie breakfast options. Nice selection of cakes at the counter too! Staff were lovely. Only downside was that the veggie breakfast was a little overpriced for what you got, that said, it was worth it for the experience. There's limited parking outside but plenty of on-road parking nearby.

Absolutely loved our visit! The food was fantastic, love the small plates menu! They’ve got a fab range of wines and beers too, which really added to the experience. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and just an all-round lovely spot. Will definitely be going back!
